Biography

Welcome to GERZI.3D ART, the website of CG artist Roger Gerzner

Hello, and welcome to GERZI.3D ART. I'm Roger Gerzner and this is my portfolio of the projects and 3d models I've done for games and also the visual effects industry. I work as a freelance CG Artist using software such as 3ds Max, Mudbox and Zbrush for modeling and sculpting, Photoshop and CrazyBump to create textures and normal maps.
If you like to buy a model or want me to do some custom models for you, please feel free to contact me.
It is also possible to purchase my models on Turbo Squid. Just click on the Turbo Squid banner on the right side of the page to see a collection of my assets there.

The site is still under re-construction and not all sections are yet open to the public. I hope this will change until end of September.

Post Apocalyptic Scenery:

I've modeled and textured a "Claw Creature" for the "Post Apocalyptic Village" I'm working on.
The "Claw Creatures" are the descendants of normal house dogs that survived the apocalypse and the radioactive contamination. After years of consuming radioactive water and food their offspring mutated into blood thirsty monsters. Claw Creatures lost their sight but evolved the ability to send out some form of sonic waves trough their huge foreheads that makes them the perfect night killer. Their claws are razor sharp and they allways hunt in packs of three to fife individuals.

Post Apocalyptic Scenery:

The project I'm working on right now is creating an entire "Post Apocalyptic Village" which can be used as an environment in a next generation video game. I've done a couple of models and set them up in the new Unreal Editor for testing. The main goal was to see how the different props would fit together and if the lighting set up creates the mood I'm looking for.
You'll find more Images of the scene in the new Unreal Editor section and the independent models in the 3d Model section.
